One challenge we solved for a financial services client  was photographing their entire 200-person team at 3 locations across the uk, creating a scheduling system that required just 15 minutes per person while maintaining consistent quality.

After the session, we carefully select and edit the best images, ensuring your final headshots present you at your professional best while still looking natural and approachable. At Page One our photography starts from as little as £200 ex vat for an hour on location,  and rises to £750 ex vat for a day.

We also have 2 hour rates and 1/2 day rates.

Grabbing a good photograph from a video is fairly easy if, you have good video to start with.

The resolution of the original needs to be high enough to produce a good photograph.  4k and above can usually do that,  but 6k ensures a photograph which can be used almost anywhere.

The frame you choose to make a photograph from needs to be sharp.  Video is shot a lower shutter speeds than photography, so often has movement, and thus may not be  sharp.

The exposure and colour need to be correct and allow you to make adjustments to get the best quality.  With 10bit colour and shooting in log, working from the original footage can often provide that.

The gallery “Estate Agency Marketing Photography” above is an excellent example of photography that has been taken from a video.

Finally, and most importantly, you need to have the right licence to make a still photography from the video content.  Most stock agencies prohibit this use as you are using footage across media that it was not intended to. So ensure that any video you commission includes a licence for still usage.
