Produced with our friends at Nottingham City Transport we recently (2015! EDIT) shot a short documentary video showing a typical night for the Nottingham Street Pastors.
The Nottingham Street Pastors aim to care for anyone who enjoys the city’s night life on Friday and Saturday nights. The volunteers help people who have become vulnerable as a result of alcohol consumption, drug use or been a victim of crime.
The project needs £24,000 a year to run and welcomes donations to keep the service running.
NCT recently donated to help meet these goals, and this evening was an opportunity for NCT to ex about what they do.

The surprise for us was that Street Pastors often deal with problems for long periods, as they wait for help from emergency services.
If you’re out in Nottingham, and find yourself in trouble, it will probably be a Street Pastor who will help.

This documentary video was shot by Doug, using a single Canon 5dmk3. Shot in colour and then output in black and white, the video gives a flavour of the typical evening that the Pastors face.
