This video helped launch a new recruitment campaign targeting engineering staff
Project Overview
Engineering recruitment can be particularly difficult, with high demand for good engineers often outstripping supply.
So when NCT decided to launch a new recruitment campaign targeting engineering staff, they looked to video to help access channels and candidates which previously were difficult to engage with.
In consultation with ourselves it was decided that we should produce a new dynamic graphical style which could leverage existing footage, and appeal to a younger demographic.
Specific outputs for use on the in-bus displays would also be produced to allow NCT to target the large number of captive viewers who use their buses, and who are already fans of the company.
The recruitment campaign produced this video, which targets the “Head” with facts and figures about the jobs, and a second set of employee testimonial videos in a similar style, to appeal the “Heart”.
This enabled NCT’s HR department to intelligently deploy the videos at different levels in the recruitment funnel, catching initial interest, and following that up with positive messaging.
Across both their captive audience on the buses, as well as on external social and recruitment channels.
