We are recruiting a Full Time Production Assistant/Editor!

We are collaborative, creative and ambitious – and have a vacancy for a keen Production Assistant/Editor to join our team in Nottingham.
THE JOB;
The role of Production Assistant/Editor is broad in scope and responsibility, and will provide an opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the production process.
This role includes all the normal assistant’s tasks on location, including helping with lighting, audio, setting up gear, shooting B-roll and everything in between. You will be working on both video and stills photography shoots.
In addition you will also be working in the post production environment. This could encompass almost any editing task, including transcoding, basic editing, colour grading, 2d graphics production, basic animation and outputting.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who is at an early stage in their career, with enough experience to be good, but is still seeking to expand their skills and grow into potentially a more specialised role.
This role is only limited by your ambition and capabilities, and will grow along with you as you expand your skills and experience.
YOU WILL NEED;
To be fluent in a broad range of Adobe products, including Premier Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition and probably Illustrator.
To be familiar with the principles of colour grading, including the use of Log and LUTS, and how to use these in Premier Pro and maybe Resolve.
To be comfortable with a variety of audio gear, such as radio mic’s, shotgun mic’s, portable recorders and be able to work in Audition.
To be able to use cameras such as GoPros and DSLRs, with experience of the Sony and Canon systems.
To be quick on your feet, proactive and adaptable.
To have a full UK driving licence and passport, as well as your own transport.
To be happy to get up at 4 a.m. for a shoot anywhere in the UK, and to be away overnight or for several days when needed.
To have a keen eye for detail and a willingness to accept direction.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS;
Having strong skills in any of the following areas;
Colour grading.
Photography /Shooting video.
Drone flying.
Audio.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US;
£16-18k pa depending on experience.
(If you’re very good, or have good grading or drone flying skills this could be more still.)
