We were recently tasked to produce a corporate event video about the launch of NCT’s new fleet of Enviro buses.
There had been a lot of pre production discussion and planning as to how the buses would be arranged for the event video, and how we would shoot their arrival in Nottinghams Market square, what would happen if it rained, etc.
But as it turned out, the light and positioning married up in almost perfect harmony as the sun rose over the council house.
With Charlotte and Dave working on stills, and Doug and Abi working on the video production, it was a full on day.
In the end we produced a 6.5 minute event video that shows the entire day, captures the action, interviews NCT’s customers, and shows off the new buses.
Whilst we had planned the general feel for the day, it’s interesting to note that virtually all of the content is off the cuff.
Even the interviews are off the cuff and we had no idea of what our subjects would say before they sat down!
For all of you techno types out there, everything was shot on Canon 5dMk3’s, audio is all from our Rode shotgun mics, and the lighting on board is LED.
